Is this Bianchi Premio - 86-87 a good bike?

I found this bike today. It is a Bianchi Premio, 1986-87. It has Shimano 600 Components, Suntour cranks, and, according to the seller, 'no-name' breaks. The front derailleur is broken, but the seller says that aside from that it's in good shape and rides well.

The Seller wants $265. I'm in Toronto - Sellers Market. Do you think it's worth it?

Do you think that if cleaned up and fixed it would be (a) fun to ride and (b) that I'd be able to get my money back if I decide to sell it?

Thanks! Any thoughts will be much appreciated!

I can't tell from the pics if it is Ice Blue or Torquise. Ice Blue would be '86 the latter '87. neither one come with a 600 RD as stock so that is certainly a replcement. Diacompe would be on either the '87 had aero levers.

I do not know your market nor do I normally buy and sell but I think $265 doe a bike you have to fix , clean up and likely tune up is a bad idea. as for getting your money back.. well a new FD will be $10+ and if you can't install it there is labor. I would bet it needs tires soon so there is another $30 to 50. no I don't think you would be able to get your $265+ back if you needed to sell it soon.

I am sure it will be agood comfortable ride.
