Cannondale caad3 mtn/hybrid
Not a great pix , seller knows nothing about this caad3
Other than he paid a few k for it 7/8 years
Ago..
Going to see it tomorrow, 2hr round trip
Drive, any idea what it is? When I see the components
I'll have a better idea, it's got a fatty fork if that's
A give away? It looks like a mid low
End mtn from the poor pic but thd seller assures
Me it's a high $$ abit older machine.

The Cannondale C makes it 2000 or newer. Here's a link to the catalogs https://www.vintagecannondale.com/catalog.html You want a picture from the other side so you can see what level components it has if he doesn't know the model. It may even have the model number on the other side.
CAD3 refers to the frame, not the model or level of components.
See? The CAD3 and the model are on this side along with a clear view of what's on it.

Great info there, thanks. Still can't find it tho, looks like that 900 with out the adjustable stem, thing the bike I'm looking at has 700c wheels. The seller is nuts, he is very bothered to give any info about the bike, funny way to sell something. I guess I'll just see it tomorrow. THX.

It's a hybrid, not a MTB. Neither bike you have mentioned are good for speed, both would be fine as commuters.
No way he paid couple of grand for it. Check out bikepedia.

Cleaned up and in running shape, I'd Craigslist something like that for about $125-150.00.
