Jeunet track bike
Hey all - I posted this in the SS/FG forum but I was told I may have better luck here. This is my daily rider, and one of my most cherished pieces.
Beyond knowing it is a Jeunet, I know very little about this bike. I would love to be able to date it, or to know a bit more about this model. I am assuming it was an entry-level machine, given that it is drilled for a front brake, and features no tubing decals (although I know that this doesn't necessarily mean it isn't something nice like Reynolds or Columbus). It is a relatively light frame, and it clearly had some nice design considerations: I love its geometry and its feel on the road is great.
I recently overhauled the BB and found it to have an unbranded spindle and cups. The headset is also unbranded. I've replaced the cranks (Peugeot DS/Shimano NDS when I bought it) to some age-appropriate, almost NOS TA/Tevanos with a 49t Stronglight chainring. In back I have a 16t surly. The chain is an 1/8" Miche but I am thinking about switching to 3/32" to match the rest of the drivetrain.
In any case - I would love to have any and all additional info about the bike. I've seen a couple of them online, but no one seems to be able to place them. I'd love to find a catalogue page or something, but I know I might be pushing it.
Thanks a million!

Look up the component codes on anything you took off, or anything remaining that is original.

Not sure if that will help. I'm not positive that these pieces were original to the bike, but given the difficulty in tracking down french-threaded cups, I'm assuming so.
