1985 Centurion Equipe - Cinelli size 56
I have a 1985 Centurion/Cinelli Equipe size 56 in Mint condition almost museum quality and totally original. If anyhting it just needs new columbus stickers that I just ordered but Iwill not replace, I will sell with bike. The bike is100% original with perhaps the exception of the tires but they are old as well. The only idfference I can tell is this bike has Wolber Rims as where the majorityof the other rims I have seen were fiamme?
Just trying to evaluate its potential worth? I will be posting on EBAY in the future and just trying to figure what would be a good starting point?

In general - as in over the long run and using averages - but not in every circumstance - starting your price at 99c will bring the highest final price.
Of course this works great if you are a frequent seller. If you are selling only one item you could end up on the low end of the selling price distribution curve. You have to determine your situation.
And reserves generally suck, and keep potential buyers away. If you have a reserve in mind, just use that as the starting price. But don't expect as many early bids.

Hi Bike Junkie, welcome to the forums. personally I would suggest starting here in the for sale threads. it cost a few dollars to join the forum to list it but on the plus side you know the bike will go to a good home and be truly enjoyed by someone who loves the bike for what it is.
I agree on ebay being a bit of a crap shoot on prices. I sell there from time to time and some times you make out and sometimes you even lose out. if I have a set price in mond for something I always set the starting bid just a bit lower and see what happens.
