If that bike came up in my area and it fit I would try to get it cheaper but I would pay 150.

mid-80's American made chromoly 12 speed. Probably went for 330 new. Look at condition and whether you want it. https://www.vintage-trek.com/images/t...7/87Trek15.jpg

In a decent market, it would be gone right now. Around here, pretty much any steel frame Trek will bring at least $200 in ready to ride condition, higher end models will bring more.
Although this is basically the bottom of the Trek line, Trek's line started at midgrade. They didn't bother with the low end stuff some of their competitors were making.

It would sell here too. Good brand, one-owner, looks to be in nice shape, pretty color, decent components, complete. Only thing is, it is a large-ish frame, which might take a bit longer.

More info at Vintage Trek website ... https://vintage-trek.com/
If it's in good shape, is the correct size for you, fits your riding needs, and is something you would ride....take a shot at it. Maybe offer $125, not that it isn't worth $150.
