Worth it if it isn't too big & you aren't too heavy. It's got $100+ in tires on it. The wheels look super low end, be careful. I've offered less & purchased bikes like that just for the parts.

Yes this is pretty good if not great deal the only issue is this bike has a large frame suited for a rider likely 6'2" plus. At the $80 price most of the guys here would buy it for the parts as said new the barely worn tires cost that much.

I was thinking the same thing about the parts. If its too big for me I might just get it for the crank and tires for my fuji. Have to do a little research to see if the crank will fit but the tires will definitely fit. Thanks for the input guys.

The crank off this bike should work just fine on similar era Fuji.

Yeah, crank and tires are worth the price. Might have a hard time selling the frame when you're done. But there are giants out there, who knows maybe you can sell what's left of the bike for $50-75.

That one looks similar to my 89 that I had. It had the Exage components on it. 4130 chromoly frame made in Greenville, MS right before Schwinn went belly up. The Exage components on that bike were lower end in the Shimano line.

The wheels are 700c based on the tires.

I bought mine for $50 and sold it for $125. It was a nice riding bike. Also that size, but I am 6'4".

Might the crank fit an 08 fuji? I would love to ride the bike but I think it might be a bit of a nut cracker. Pedaling would be fine but putting my feet down would be a painfull experience LOL.

2008 Fuji? Maybe, but you'll probably have to swap out the bottom bracket too unless the Fuji happens to have a square taper BB. What's wrong with your crank? Honestly on a new bike like that I'd upgrade to a newer external bearing crank rather than putting that old (and not terribly special) crank on.

Keep the Biopace rings though, that stuff is pure gold

Looks like an '89 to me with a 25" frame. The rims should be Weinmann 416 alloy 700c, not 27". Frame is True Temper 4130.

Specifications are HERE.

Even with the big frame, I don't see how you could go wrong for $80.
