What kind of Tange?
Got VeloSport express 10 speed as part of the trade - usual suspects like cottered cranks, steel stem and seatpost, etc,
However - when took it apart I noticed that frame is actually pretty light and fork has "Tange" stamp on it. Wheels were kind of cool - first time I saw vintage Hope hubs.
Seat post tube diameter is 25.8 - what kind of Tange is it? Is the whole frame Tange or just the fork? Possible year?

The only thing you know for sure is that the fork is Tange. Tange made everything from high ten steel to all the nice stuff. Given the small seat post size, its likely high ten steel.
Fork crown details look basic.

If the seat tube is the standard 28.6 mm O.D., and the seatpost is 25.8 mm, that means the seat tube wall is 1.3 mm thick with the usual 0.2 mm clearance tolerance between the seat tube I.D. and the seatpost O.D.
Tubing wall that thick (1.3 mm) means hi-ten steel.

Got it - thanks guys! Frame is very light for hi-tensile plus tange on the fork made me hope it was something better. regardless - ride is very nice, just eats potholes (thanks to steel wheels too of course)

Unfortunately, the only picture that loads for me is the fork crown. The Express model name was applied to a series of bottom of the line models, offered in both racing and commuter versions. If you can get an overall picture to load and/or post the serial number, I may be able to tell you the exact yea. It's almost certainly from the early to mid-1980s, as that was when Velosport was at their peak. I still have most of my catalogues from that period.

Mongo you probably want to rez down your images. The fork crown loads REALLY slow since the full size is 35mb with 300ppi. Perhaps that is why that is the only image I can see as well. I put images on photobucket 10 inches on the long side at 100ppi. Just a thought.
