Merckx ax

Going to check out a merckx ax tonite. Full dura ace. New tires and bar wrap. Seller claims the frame and overall bike is in perfect shape. He wants $800. To high?

The 2007 in Ft. Wayne? Not classic nor vintage, but the DA group + wheels would likely justify most of the price.

No it's not the 2007. It's the titanium frame. I went ahead and bought it. Pics soon

It's got a nice list of parts, Chris king headset, look carbon forks, salsa stem. The dura-ace is nice, but I'm thinking campy eventually. Anyone use speedplay pedals?

Congrats on the purchase!

Pretty bicycle I think.....

I just started with Speedplays three weeks ago on my El Mariachi.

I'm not sold on the float yet, but they are easy to use.

A similar frame/fork (made by Litespeed in the USA) sold for $650 recently on another forum. You did great, now hurry up with the pics!
