300$ Apollo Gran Sport
Hey everyone,
I've been looking for a larger bike to ride both recreationally and as a commuter since my Nishiki Rally is too small. I found this ad in kijiji for an Apollo Gran Sport.
https://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-s...AdIdZ501436363
The bike has a new rear rim and continental tire. I've been doing a bit of research and so far all I know is that this bike is late 70's early 80's due to the chromed seat stays and fork ends. I've encountered varying opinions on the internet as to this bicycle so I thought I would ask you guys for advice on the price. 300$ definitely seems overpriced. However, seeing as how this bike looks like it's in pretty good condition, would 200-250$ for this bike be reasonable? I think I could bargain the price down. Any input would be apreciated.
Thanks

$300 is overpriced for what reason? Looks like $300 to me. If I am the seller, if you offer me $200, I am loading up my bike and leaving. If it is an email offer, I am just hitting the delete key.
Go in person, offer $250, and you will probably get it. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! It seemed overpriced to me because most of the apollo gran sports I've seen sold on the internet were bought for ~200 or less. But then again most of the other bikes needed a little TLC. I'll offer him 250$ and see where it goes from there.
