It's pretty cool, looks like Raleigh pattern lugs. Fresh paint so I wouldn't necessarily trust the pattern and decals to be 100% accurate. If it fit I'd drop the coins on it just for fun.

Are those decals done right? This bike looks more like 1972 to me but I'm just guessing.
Worth 2 bills? Did he do the grease in the BB and the hubs? Does it ride real sweet? Is it your size? You like the color? Normally I'd pass at that price but then some of these old Raleigh products ride a lot nicer than the aught to. And it does have a nice looking Brooks. What are those fenders? If they are original then they might be worth a little.

Has anyone ever seen another one of these? It just doesnt seem right. I've never seen a Raleigh that came with Valentino gear. Is that a Milremo stem? And a Nervar crank? I just don't believe it.

Crank looks accurate, but it looks like an attempt at the RRA paint scheme on the NON 531 versions. Both the Valentino RD and the "Campagnolo Equipped" look out of place/time. But if it rides straight and true, it is a Nottingham cycle- for some, the $$ is worth it.

No, sorry, I didn't mean to imply no Raleigh has a Nervar crank, but rather that this whole thing is somehow bogus. Did Raleigh ever make a bike like this? I have never seen nor heard on one, but that's neither here nor there. But who has? That's my question. Not I, like I sez.

Not sure the seller has all of the details right. But for a vintage Nottingham frame nicely setup ready to ride with fenders the price is more than FMV for a hot market like Boston. The only real issues I would have with the bike is the Valantino junk myself personelly I would never rebuild a bike this nicely with Valentino which would give me a bit of pause.

This is fishy. And I'd like to slap whoever stuck that "Campagnolo Equipped" sticker on the chainstay.

I had a Rudge Royale for a while...and this one is, from a frame/fork perspective is dead on. The fenders are not original, nor is the Campy gear...I think these tended to be Huret equipped, but not sure on that. I disagree with the "fishy" comment earlier...

The crank seems to be right.

I agree with the poster about the Campagnolo Equipped sticker..take it off...

But, overall, this is a good price for a nice, older, early 60's bike.
