Is this a Vintage Rixe with Campy parts?
Guys,
Found this bike. Former owner said the guy he bought it from said it was a Rixe from the 60s or 70s. He had it repainted (I guess a DIY job), and never reattached stickers. It's clearly got a Campy set of cranks and pedals and BB, ad Ultegra derailleur, Campy brake levers, (Weinmann) center pull brakes. Given the painting and the look of the drop outs it looks like Reynolds 531 or Columbus steel.
And ideas of what it might really be?!

Need pics of the lug work, fork crown, tubing sizes, seat post size, threading to even start guessing. My gut says English.

So the components you can see from the photos alone would make it worth $300?

Impossible to tell because there is not sufficient detail to determine how worn or unworn the components are. also, those are side pull brakes, lacking the front cable, no front derailleur, lacks rear derailleur cable. Not even $300 currently. But the crank appears to be low use, so it could be worth something.

Campy brakes are side pull, OP said it was Weinnman center pulls. front brake looks like a campy missing parts. Can see squat on the reverse mounted rear brake.

I would say only around $200-250 in value as it sits bad repaint basically a nicer name frame. Missing parts shifters, Front Deraileur, cables. As for getting good value from the parts it has a nice crank and pedals.
