Louison Bobet
Hey, was wondering if anyone would know how much a Louison Bobet sports is worth, I think its from late 70's early 80's, I'm 99% sure its the "Sports" model based on the limited information I could gather from the internet!
I'd be selling the entire bike minus the wheelset. Thanks in advance

Missing wheelset probably means no more than 50$. Looks fairly low end. 700 or 26 wheels?

Before I saw the image I felt the estimate was harsh. I guess not. These later bikes lost all character.

I'd take off the cranks & bottom bracket and try selling just the frame. I'd describe it as a touring bike since it has canti posts. With the cranks & components potential buyers will see right away that it is a low end bike. Is it french threaded?

I'll give it a go, in the end if its not worth more than 100$ total I'd rather just keep it for myself. Thanks for the help everyone

Keep in mind, we are giving you US prices. I have no clue how good/bad your market is in Belgium.

What is the wheel size it makes a big difference on value? 26 inch would be worth half as much or less than 27/700c.

When I clicked on the link, I was expecting more, too... but it looks like a very low end mountain bike to me. Cottered crank, much later than the ones we are used to seeing in the USA. The one thing I would (besides the wheel size) do is check the seatpost diameter and try to get some handle on what it is made of, but those dropouts don't give me much hope.
