What year and model of Peugeot is it? I am guessing 70s? I understand it is entry level, etc. But I am curious about the following:
- does it have what looks like lugged stem?
- what are the chances it is Canadian made and therefore should have English threading (in theory)?
I was thinking it is UO8 but decals are different and no chrome

In the early 70's they had a more basic model than the UO8, If I recall it was an AO8, wing nut wheel attachments. It was an alloy stem, with thicker metal at the andle looking like a lug, but was not. The ones we sold had a most annoying shim in the seat tube to make the small diameter seat posts fit. They were in reality, crappy.
edit: Just because I was set to thinking about things by this post, we found a lot of interesting things in Peugeot boxes back then, like MT wine bottles, moldy cheese, sandwich bits, various types of litter and a couple of roaches from toked lunch breaks. Interesting times back then.

Thank you guys - indeed AO8, found several similar looking bike pictures in different color but same components and decals style/color
Yep, I can see it has lugged frame - was curious if stem is lugged and apparently it is not, just looks like it

I think only saddle is not original and frame pump is missing (I have not clue if it was an option or came standard)
