Paramount
This Paramount was donated to the Co-op by a longtime supporter. We love bikes at the co-op, and really hate to see a bike parted out. On the other hand our local market is fairly small and we do have to pay our rent.
Sorry I didn't get the S/N; I'll do that when I'm at the co-op Wednesday.
This has been a rider, with evidence on the right brake lever of going down, but not abused. I'd say it needs an overhaul in terms of bearings packed, new cables and rubber, thorough cleaning. Donor said the original owner kept the seatpost, which seems weird but anyway. Donor also said he had to replace the rear hub. Looks like the original rim build on a Sachs hub.
I measured 24" C-C.
6 speed rear, not indexed.
Seems like we could do three things:
- Clean it up and sell as-is, as a whole bike
- Repack all the bearings, replace the rubber, and sell as a whole bike
- eBay the parts
What can we expect to get?

Early eighties Waterford built Paramount with "rainbow" decals. As is, maybe $500 or so. It needs some TLC.
