2 80's something Nishikis
Nishiki Comp 2
Nishiki Prestige
Comp 2 is asking for $150. Rideable but might need some parts replacement
Fully refurbed Nishiki Prestige for $275
What do you guys think of these deals?

I think that without better pictures and more information on components who knows.

During the 1970's and 80's components varied greatly on models within the same year, depending on what was available for that production run.

If the Prestige is actually refurbed and the components are in decent shape, the price is about right. I wouldn't pay that (i would sell it for that) because I am not a fan of indexing Suntour components, they are just too hard to find compatible parts for. I am not positive that the components are Suntour or indexing but they likely are. That being said it should be a very nice riding bike.
I am not familiar with the comp model, although judging by the brake levers and foam covered bars, I would say it is overpriced by about half.

My market is low, and here those prices would be high by about 25%, the Comp 2 hard to sell right now at $125, the Prestige maybe $150-175, but worth every single penny if it's very clean and serviced.

Comp 2's pretty banged up more than it looked: front derailleurs cracked, handlebars bent, etc. It took me another $100 to get it running and fit my preference. I would've haggled a bit more if I knew but hey, there's nothing like the feeling of getting your first bike (again).
