I dont know the exact year, but I believe it is 1994 or 1995. Campy Record components throughout.

What are your thoughts on value?

Just a question to help dating and pricing what speed year Record group and wheelset? They look a few years newer than the frame.

I dont know how old the components and wheelset are. Its an 8 speed cassette.

I think I might disagree with my esteemed colleague on this one - I remember this model being offered around the mid-90s, and the SLX new sticker was around that period as well. The rims might be newer, but the rest all looks rights for a high end mid-90s classic. Value...tough one because of size. Tomassini is finally getting its due as a premiere builder, but the market fluctuates on mid-90s steel that isn't MAX or EL OS. Yours looks great, and this happens to be one of my very favorite groups for performance vs aesthetics.

A photo of the front of the ergos would help dating - looks 93-94 from what I see.

I think this has to be sold as a BIN with make offer on the bay - I'd probably start at 1400 and take an offer of 1000-1100.

I have a 1994 Sintesi as well.

Mine is a 8 speed Record/Chorus mix.

Yours looks to be in very nice condition.

I would think Aaron's numbers are quite reasonable.

Are you sure you want to sell it, as they are strong performing bicycles?

I was trying to abide by forum rules and not indicate that I am selling it, but since you brought it up: Its too big for me, I need the money to buy something in my size so I will have more fun riding.

I will try to post detailed photos of that tonight.

I would also consider a trade in that case. It sucks having an awesome bike that just doesn't fit.

Bill is dead on (as usual) and this is part of why I think you might be better off one of two ways:

1. A sale here or on the paceline - I respect your scrupulous approach to rules and am not implying you were angling for that, but I do think it's a potential avenue to pursue - you'll get a little less than eBay, but we facilitate for one another so you'll have an experienced guy looking at it and helping - maybe even with shipping. As bill suggested, if you don't have bike eBay sales, it might be your best bet since a buyer can likely have someone check it out beforehand.

2. A trade - local or by using resources like here and paceline. It's a cool bike, and rather than have two transactions with risk (buy and sale), why not go to one transaction? If you want a high end bike, this is a bargaining chip that can potentially get you one.

As a seller you should take anything over $1000 in your pocket.

In reality its probably worth $1400 give or take on Ebay. If it sell for $1400 on Ebay you'll walk with $1220, is $220 worth the hassle to sell it on Ebay?

ATL is a big metro area, I'd place well written ad on Craigslist with a price of $1200. Take the fist offer over $1K (or whatever $ you have in mind)

I appreciate all the input, they are all good suggestions. I have never sold anything on ebay, so if I go that route I will need to find a friend with good seller feedback.
