Interested in the values of these bikes.
I'm in the market for a road bike and would like an older style one. I'm brand new to road biking so I don't know much about them and I'm also on a very limited budget right now. I've been searching around mainly on craigslist and came across three bikes. I was wondering if you guys could help me with deciding what these bikes are worth for their condition and type of bike? The first is a Specialized Allez Comp, unknown year, he is asking $225 for the bike. The second bike is a Centerion Lemans, same seller and unknown year, he is asking $225 for this bike also. The third bike is from a different seller and is a 96 trek 470 fast track, he is asking $200. I've attached pictures of all three. Thanks for the help!

Wow! Nice assortment of bikes. Priced to sell if you ask me, very fairly priced. The Centurion looks smaller than the others, but could just be the angle of the picture. I think you test ride them and choose the one you like. Of course try to get the best deal you can.

Some very nice bikes at good prices if they fit anyone should be a good choice. I like the Allez the best. The Trek is the best deal price wise but it is more of sprint time trial bike not as well suited for everyday use.

Thank you guys for the feedback! I am meeting with the seller of the Specialized and the Centerion later this afternoon. I talked with the owner of the Trek and it might be a little to big for me. I will let you all know how it goes.

All are nice and priced to move. If I had to pick, I would go with the Allez.

I ended up going with the Allez. The Centerion was being held for another person and the Trek ended up being a little on the large side. The bike functions properly for the most part. Shifts great and rides smooth. I can tell that somebody definitely wiped out on it at some point. There are a few dents and scratches along the frame. The Chain stays are a bit bent up. I do feel that I payed a bit too much for the condition that the bike was in but I walked away with over $100 worth a free stuff since the guy is moving, so I can't complain too much. It's going to be my daily ride to and from work which is on the beach and it will be subjected to some salty air, so condition for this bike wasn't a huge factor for me. It will definitely make for a quicker and easier trip than my mountain bike. Any tips on where to start with fixing it up a little?
