1989 Trek 1000

I put new tape, cables, housing and tires on her. Cleaned and lubed. Suntour Edge group. Shifts great. Whats it worth?

Nice vintage bike with Trek USA cache but less desiraible aluminium frame and edge components. Considering nice tires wheels and setup $250-300. I have serious soft spot for the last off main stream American bikes as do many 40 something buyers.

Shouldn't you ask what a refurbished bike is worth before you put the money and time into it, so the expected profit is known up front?

Where is the high polish on the aluminum bits? I'm with @zukahn1 on value, $275, +/- 10%.

The edge stuff has a greyish finish.

Thanks. I thought at least $200 when I bought the bike. I never had a bike with Edge before. I listed it at $300.

I will polish up the stem. I guess I am getting lazy. :)
