Cervelo or no Cervelo? I can't tell if this is authentic, please help!

56cm Road Bike

I'm looking for a new road bike, and this one is my size and looks to be in good condition, but the seller says he purchased it off of ebay and he is not sure what the actual make/model is. Can anyone help with this? I don't wanna end up with a walmart bike disguised as a cervelo. Thanks!

So we get the "before" pic which shows it built up as a racer, then we get the "after" pix which show really low-end components, torn left brake hood, etc. I suspect the seller bought it for the parts and is selling the remains, but did a less-than-thorough job on the rebuild. I'd pass.

That is ridiculous. Like buying a roast chicken carcass after someone's eaten the meat.

Let's assume this is actually a Cervelo, which I wouldn't count on. If you want to ride a Cervelo, you must want the bike to also have components worthy of a Cervelo. So you buy this frame, throw away the crap parts that the bike stripper slapped on, and go buy the appropriate components. You will sink $1000 or more into the project plus loads of time/effort.

Wow, a Cervelo with 7-speed rear, thumbshifters, and a kickstand. The bike may actually perform well for what it is now, but I certainly wouldn't pay much for it.

Just of of curiosity, how does a picture of a bike with race grade components demonstrate its potential as a racer? The seller of that bike is trolling for fool fish. All it shows me is that the bike has been stripped of anything of value.
