Need help identifying my Norco Monterey

So I just bought this ten speed Norco Monterey for $20 and need some help identifying the age and worth (anyone's guess probs)

Works well brakes need some tightening but other than that it's great!

Just by the graphics I'm assuming it's 80s but not too sure, as with the value.

Any ideas how I might figure this out guys?

You can easily identify the bicycle's vintage by applying the information contained in How Old Is My Bicycle?, paying closest attention to Component Numbers. As for value, do you mean to sell, where do you live, what size is the bicycle, what condition is it in... The point is, you have not supplied us with enough information and quality pictures to offer a decent value appraisal. You can learn more about your bicycle's value by looking through Vintage Bicycle Value.

Hope that is a help.

Indexed downtube shifters and a 'light action' RD? 1986-9 and $125-200 depending on your patience level and picture quality.

It looks like a 1988 or 1989 model year. Find the serial number. Probably on the lower end of the seat tube, non-drive side. It may be faintly imprinted on two lines. Probably starts with "DS". The serial number can be used to tell when the frame was manufactured.

There should be a decal on the frame that states what the tubes are made of.
