Schwinn Stingray Fastback Date And Value?
can someone please help me with the date of manufacture on my Schwinn Stingray and the approximate valued serial number DF48965. the bike looks to be complete and original. few spots of chipped paint other than that Chrome in real good condition. Tires original this was a barn find and just curious on what the value of it is and what year it came from thanks for the help guys. Bike is Blue.

DFxxxxx indicates an April 1970 frame build. We would need to see some detailed pictures of the bike and components in order to provide an accurate valuation. Things like the color, condition of the paint, decals and chrome, and the originality of components will have a major effect on value. Until you can provide pics, see the following sold bikes as a value guide, and note that older ones are generally worth more than newer ones:

Chrome in excellent condition. Still needs a little cleaning. Have taken pictures of the chips, hole in seat, and brake cable that is taped. Everything works. All original.
