incazzare.
In all seriousness, it's a junker. Low quality steel, 1 piece crankset, etc. I would not spend a dime on it. I probably wouldn't take it if it was free, actually. Overhauling it would cost way more than the bike is worth.

Do they have any pride when marketting "Official Olympics" memorabilia?
I suppose it would be better than an "official" 1980 Olympics bicycle here in the USA.

1976 was a special year for lots of manufacturers. Cadillac made a 76 Eldorado "Bicentennial" edition to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Check out how much those things are going for. ......O.K. end of history lesson...... That bike will have absolutely no value whatsoever to a C&V rider because it's just a "lipstick on a pig" Sears & Roebuck gas pipe clunker. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and $50 could be a fair value for somebody out there.

Now that's vintage, Montgomery Ward. I do remember Montgomery Ward (not fondly).
And his list of keywords is totally all-encompassing: Keywords: herman miller, retro, old school, knoll, vintage, eams, heywood wakefield, Haywood, mod, hipster, modern, mid century, tiki, hot rod, rat rod, man cave.

1976 was also the bi-centennial year, so it should be of some interest to somebody for whom 1976 means something. A '70s Iverson was a total piece of junk...every single piece of it (right down to the valve caps). As a kid I used to work on that $#!& ! It wasn't a pleasant experience. The "1976" thing, however, makes it pretty cool..and $50 ain't going to break the bank. It might make a nice wall decoration for a sports bar.

Just on a whim, I picked up an Iverson for $20.00, reddish-orange in colour, made in Portugal (or so it says), marked "Super Olympic 66" on the brakes. Wheels spin true, no clicking from the bottom bracket. Ser# 044XXX, not bad shape except for the cable housings. Anyone know anything about this model or where I can get info? It's just something i can have fun with while giving the old Fuji Royale a rest.
