Appraisal for Raleigh SuperCourse
Another snot-green blister but it does have its charm: Stronglight cranks & chain rings, Weinmann callipers and levers, Simplex derailleurs and levers, Rigida steel rims, Brooks saddle, GB alloy stem & handlebars.... and Reynolds tubing.
23 inch frame with "Carlton" decal on seat tube and little "Carlton Worksop stickers on fork blades..

Still learning
Most metro cities, $275-$325. Toronto metro = $350-$400, including the Brooks, would be my SWAG.

A 1973, I think.
I'd put that up for $400 here and be willing to sell it for $325.

I agree. In the NYC area I would aim $300 plus. It is definitely a nice bike and sought after.

300-400 for a steel wheeled, cottered steel crank, simplex geared bike. Granted the frame is decent, but that price is way beyond any value of the bike.

Maybe so, but that's how much you could sell it for around here. I think that's pretty much how the value is defined. They have a following.
Wheels are alloy, BTW.

Memories
Sorry, nothing very much to add re value - but based on my experience last year selling a Bianchi I can confirm that the Toronto market is a good place to be selling, especially at this time of year! Best wishes in making a 'win/win' deal for both parties.
BUT sure brought back some memories.
I bought a Super Course (very similar to this) brand new from a downtown LBS back in early 1976 when I first arrived in Toronto from UK
Lovely bike in all respects - tracked very easily 'no hands' - and I personally especially liked the chrome on the forks etc.
Wonder how I would find the ride now ?
