1983 Guerciotti road bike
Hello All,
I bought this bike in 1983 and have not been able to use it for quite some time. I am looking for help in figuring out what it is worth.
DSC06986.jpgDSC06984.jpgDSC06981.jpg
As I recall it is SLX tubing. It has campy components. The frame has some corrosion on the chrome forks and chain stays and some scratches. Everything worked fine when I last used it.
Any help is appreciated.

Actually that game is Played in this section.. https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...als-inquiries/
IMHO, It Depends ... are the stem and seatpost stuck? are you going to do any work on it first?
where are you selling it? SF Bay Area , Portland Oregon or in the middle of farm country.
put it on EBay No reserve and see what happens.. auctions are determining value for any given day amongst the Interested Bidders.

But if you're going to play that game, then please, Please, PLEASE learn how to properly disassemble and safely pack a bike - or else damage in shipping will lead to a very pissed-off buyer. Packing a bike is a major hassle, and requires some thought and skill, so know what you're getting into.

So I box up their Bike and left behind gear and UPS takes it back Home.

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

Opening the thumbnail, then right-clicking on it and selecting "open in new tab" allows me to go to the new tab and magnify the picture. (I use Chrome but I bet Firefox & Internet Exploder do the same)
I have to do this on the Forum a lot out here due to my wobbly eyesight not mixing well with distant and/or blurry photos.
Using this method, I see Nuovo/Super Record components and shredded bar tape. Not a promising combination.

With the full monty of Campy Super Record, gotta be up around $7-800, even in its unkept state.
Squirt some wd-40 on it and wipe it down. Let's see what you really have there.
