Is this Miele a good deal?

Hello all,

I am interested in some Italian steel and found this bike in my size.

Vintage Miele 53cm - all SunTour components

Is 330 a fair price?

Thanks!

Not really for a bike with a cromor tubing in somewhat rough looking shape with a somewhat hodg podge mix of components that don't match, would say it's only worth $175 give or take. If it was in really nice shape with matching components it would be worth the asking price. As it is presented it would need a complete overhaul $100-150 and another $150 in components to get it nicely setup.

What a mess.

Handlebars appear bent.
Are those combo brake-shift levers only hooked up to brakes?

That bike represents three manufacturers and four generations of components.

all suntour except for the parts that aren't suntour, haha. Agreed, not worth asking price, but potentially cool bike.

Overpriced...by quite a bit...and, BTW, it is NOT Italian...

Price should be more like 130...

Overpriced, rough condition, mis-match of parts, badly bent handlebars, pass... Price is at least double what it probably should be around here.

Thank all. I am still interested in the frame, but I'll see if I can get the price to drop. I should have said, italian tubing. Forgot Miele is Canadian.

Baltimore craigslist has among the highest percentage of scammers, mis-represented and overpriced trash, and obviously stolen bikes. Makes me shudder ...

I'm not kidding.

What's up with Baltimore, anyway?
