Bianchi Veloce

2002 may or may not be C&V, but what would you pay for this Bianchi? 9 speed Veloce, carbon fork, and looks to be reasonably well maintained. Seller has not quoted a price, and I'm wondering what to offer.

Almost $1500 when new! Wow for a chromoly frame. Seller could probably get $475 +/- 10% for it.

2002 Bianchi Veloce - BikePedia

Not that it helps put a FMV on your possible purchase, but my 2001 Univega Modo Viviere, Columbus Thron and Campagnolo Mirage, for half that new seems like a steal. I paid less than 1/3 original list price.

OP, It depends on one significant decal. If it says, "Handmade In Italy", the value will be higher, somewhere around the $475 mark as stated above. If that decal is not there, the price goes down by at least $50 probably more. The decal is located on the left chain stay. The red Campione in my avatar is a 2001 and has the sticker along with being full Campy. However, by 2003, a number of the lower end Bianchi frames were no longer made in Italy. I'm not sure if the 2002 was made in Italy or not.
