Ok that is the bike, are you commenting to try and help or just trolling?

The bike in the photo appears to be a lower-end MTB from the mid to late 1990s judging by the components and threadless headset. As-pictured I think I could sell it in the $100-150 range around here.

Since condition matters so much photos of a "similar" bike are almost always useless. When I see photos in a craigslist ad for a bike, car, whatever where they say it "looks just like this one" I immediately stop taking them seriously. So it's a good question to ask.

Thanks FastJake thats a brilliant response I really appreciate it! I was just wondering a rough age and very rough price which from your answer helps me with this. I agree with you about the condition so, as that one actually isnt mine, I will now take the bike out from the corner of my kitchen where it is wedged behind loads of things to photograph it properly and perhaps attempt to sell. Again, thank you for the help!

Nobody can estimate the value of a bike based on looks like. Many new posters will claim that a bike looks like when they are totally different models. Also, the condition and the components, which may have been changed, dictate estimated values.
