Nishki Continental Touring Bike

Hey everyone, new to this forum... Been looking for a quality used touring bike for a while now (under $500). Just came across this in my area, it seems to fit my requirements but I think the asking price seems a little steep? Just looking to get some second opinions.

Nishiki Continental Touring bike | road | Hamilton | Kijiji

Thanks!

Well this particular continental build looks to have a decent touring setup--2x water bosses, front rack bosses, double eyelets on front/back. Also appears to be pretty clean w/ original build, or close to it. Not totally off the mark pricewise, not as known as miyata but still looks to be very respectable. Seller seems to know what he or she has so probably not coming off too much. up to 400 would seem like a decent buy esp since you have been looking. Most touring are set up as sport, while this one is definitely designed for heavy touring. One more water bottle boss would be nice but you can make do.

Nice looking bike. 700c wheels, Tange DB tubing, canti brakes, front and rear rack brazeons, Cyclone drivetrain- it’s a pretty solid looking vintage tourer.

Even if $450 is high by $75, but it fits great. If its a rider that I will use a lot, I would say its more than worth paying that extra difference if the owner wont budge. The current owner seems to know their stuff and the bike is coming to you in ready to ride condition. That probably means the bike wasn't neglected, which has obvious value.

I saw that one, but it is missing bosses on seat tube. Weird they would put the traditional third but skip #2 .

My Elite GT is setup the same way.
