Peugeot Safari "500", is it worth anything?

I found what was listed as a "Peugeot Safari 500" on Craigslist for $65 (the price has been reduced several times already), and I can't really find any reliable information about this model or its value online. Is it actually worth anything (specifically, $65)?

I don't really care if it'll last forever or anything like that; I'm planning on using a bike at that price as an in-between until a deal on a longer-term option presents itself (or I get a significant raise at work).

Its still a bike, so why not, if you are looking for a temporary ride at a budget price.
Yeah, I'll definitely still investigate it in person. I just wanted to make sure this wasn't a well-known lemon or something like that.

Not "collectable" as the seller claims, unless you have a collection of bottom-end MTBs. Should be a decent rider if nothing is bent or too rusty. If you're around 5'8" or thereabouts, it's probably a good size for you.
