Trek 630 value question
Hi,
New to the forum and I have three vintage bikes to sell and would like some guidance.
I am going to post them in three different threads so as not to get confused.
Can't load pictures right now because the camera is in the wife's purse and not at home.
Number 2
Trek 630 12 speed in good shape.
Don't know the year (maybe late '83 or 84).
Frame has been inspected and is straight but the fork was tweaked and had to be straightened. Slight dent in the fork.
Headset length - 4"
Stand over height - 31"
Brakes - NGC 500
Derailleurs - Suntour Cyclone M-II
Crank - Aenox
Tires - new Panasonic Panaracer 27x1
Rims - UKAI 27x1 Japan
Pedals - can't make out the brand
Seat and Post - seat not original and post is SR
Bars - SR
Hubs - Suntour
Any help in price range would be appreciated.
Just want to get a fair price and sell it to someone who wants it.
Do I care if it is flipped. I don't know? Would rather see it go to an end user.
Will load pictures as soon as I can.
Thanks, Dean

It's impossible to give a valuation without pictures (esp. of the drive side and those that give a good idea of the condition of the frame and parts). That said, I don't like buying bikes with a dent and that goes double for the fork. It's not worth risking a failure in the fork. Others no doubt will disagree but I think that the condition of the fork is a serious negative in terms of the value of the bike.
