Paramount Series 3 PDG Appraisal
I have a Paramount Series 3 PDG bike that I would like to sell and was wondering what the resale value would be for it. It was purchased for me over 20 years ago as a gift but I haven't used it very much over the last 10 years and would like to sell it. It is in pretty good condition. The only things that I see that are wrong with the bike is the black seat cover is pulling apart on the front section of the seat and the handle bar grip is coming unraveled on one side and there are a few scrapes and cuts on the handle bar grip. Tires are flat and I don't have the correct pump to air them up to see if they are good or not. Any feedback on resale value would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello MRK14, welcome to the forums. The pics don't give us a good idea of how clean the bike is, nor what level of components are in it. I think that has Shimano RX100 on it right? In its present condition I think $100-125 depending on your location. Since the buyer will have to spend money to fix it up, afore mentioned handle bar grip and saddle, plus a tune up. The buyer will also have to spend time cleaning the bikes.

Around here, you'd have no trouble getting $150-200. Possibly more with patience. I do agree however that, noting it will likely need new tubes, tires, etc., to me, brings it closer to that lower number.

Thanks for the feedback. I rode the bike for several years and live in TN but really do not have any idea about the components or any specific details regarding the bike. It has been sitting in the garage for several years now. I would say it's fairly clean and in overall good condition but certainly not in mint condition and would need some reconditioning.

I'd say in current condition (need servicing, handlebar tape, a seat, and new tires and tubes, which will cost you $200 or more, depending what you buy and who does the work), a realistic number would be $150.
In top condition with a tuneup and new tires, ready to ride (what does the other side look like?), it isn't worth more than about $350 if you are willing to wait for the right Buyer.
Can you do the work yourself, how much are you willing to invest to get more out at time of sale, and how long are you willing to wait for the right Buyer to come along? Depending on your answers, you might be better it off selling the way it is.

Still learning
A presta valve adapter to Schrader is about $3.00, well worth it to pump up the tires.
