Holdsworth? Bad pic but wanting general info
I have a shot at this holdsworth in my size... but the seller knows nothing about bikes really and only has this pic.
Can anyone identify the year and model etc from this?

looks like suntour supurbe?

put it in photoshop and zoomed in- it says Vigorelli (3 times) along the top tube. this has not helped me find the year or model.... maybe these were added later?
I am thinking its a Mistral just from comparing it to photos online.

Still learning
If it's the one in Pleasanton, better buy now and ask questions later. You snooze, you lose.

yup. its the one in pleasanton - I already agreed to buy and come pick it up tomorrow morning at 11am. they said they would hold it for me till then. (hopefully this is true.. i find that sellers have a ~30% chance of selling it anyway, even if they say that)

Just check the top tube cable guides for rust through.
The last three Holdsworths I have seen locally had severe rust issues in that general area.......
Otherwise, neat bike for the $300 asking.

thanks will check. strange coming from England they would have rust issues... not like they don't have salt air and rain there or anything. hopefully by tomorrow ill be uploading some better pics. I just got excited and wondered if anyone here would be able to give some specifics from very little to go on.

Those Vigorelli sticker very likely have nothing to with the bike other than a previous owner thought they cool.

just picked it up and will post some as-is pics. its been sitting for 20 years so needs to be completely gone through: it is an 80s Mistral with vigorelli stickers on it and some go faster paint on one seat stay. rubber bits are cracked and stuff, but very little rust and seems lively, though i have yet to ride it (rear tire wont hold air).
here are some pics: (sorry I did not realize the white balance was off on most of them... but you get the idea - and the full bike shot had some crazy sunlight effect which sort of makes it look like some god is jsut then sending it to earth..but I realize may not be the best pic for detail!)
