Campy Cranks: C Record? Value?
Hi Guys:
These cranks just came on a frame I bought. Wrong length for me so I may sell them.
First of all, are they, as I think, C Record? Anyone one to venture a guess as to a selling price?
Thanks,
Jim

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

They are C-Record but are the more common print logo as opposed to the engraved version.
Recent "sold" listings on the Bay have a bit of a range depending on condition but go from around $60 to $150 for used 172.5 cranks.

Cool, thanks! These are pretty good condition as you can see from the pics and come complete with the extractors. Chainrings show little if any wear. Maybe I should ask $100 on the forum?
Cheers,

I would agree in good condition these go for about $100 with chain rings and extractor bolts. Very nice crank set but not rare or special enough to get the silly high prices you sometimes see Campy stuff go for.

Any chance you have the BB? If so make sure you measure it and include the size in your listing. I haste buying a crank the having to figure out what BB I need.

I would say 70 bucks. As clean as they may be, they aren't 84 or 85 C-Record, if they were the price could easily triple. Then again, you may get 100 on e-bay, but I doubt it on the forum.

Better to sell crank & BB together as a set, or separately ??

I was thinking some buyers might prefer separate, if they already have 1 or the other .... I guess "it depends".
