Nishiki NFS Beta, early 90s (crappy phone pics and purple alert!!)
Was at my favorite LBS today and this consignment was brought to my attention because they know I have zero interest in their newer offerings.
Nishiki NFS Beta, upgraded with Ultegra RD/FD(?)/brifters/brakes and 650b wheelset. Super clean. Currently set up with CF fork, but purchase includes original fork and an additional 600 wheelset with pristine Hyperglide freewheel (cassette?). Quoted price $500. FMV? 48cm frame which I'm hoping may fit my wife's 5' riding partner. Possible fits are rare indeed...
Thanks in advance.

So it's on the steep end of the scale, which I sort of expected. Short people markup perhaps.

On the upside, if she unloads her current bike (low-end modern Specialized) it will offset the price by about half.

Are they 650b or 650c wheels? I think that is a Tri bike hence the extra bottle boss behind the seattube.

I wouldn't pay that much unless the LBS offered a one year warranty with free tune ups. It would be a nice fit for a small rider.
