Identify this Bianchi?
Could anyone tell me the year and model of this Bianchi. I think 1969 but hard to tell the model.

Hello nharnick,
Welcome to the forum.
Thanks for sharing your Bianchi.
Your dating looks right in there. Might conceivably be one or two years later.
Model is called Rekord, enjoyed a long production life through numerous versions.
Frame constructed of Agrati bits. Lugset is called "AM", head is bulgeformed nr. 000.8046.
It was also offered with wired-on wheels.
The NERVAR Sport chainset accepts chainwheels down to 38T in case you may wish to make gearing changes.
The forum has had a number of threads on these in case you would like to compare or read the ownership and repair experiences of others. Just enter the name in the search window and the threads will come up. iirc there are also one or two threads where the name "Record" is used.

Cheers, thanks very much. What year did Bianchi switch from the the red to blue lettering? Seems maybe 1971? What might this bike be worth?

Hello Again Norm,
Yes, this date sounds about right.
wrt valuation - values can vary a good deal depending on one's location. For participants to give a more meaningful assessment it would be helpful to let readers know where you are.
It was good to see the bike. One seldom encounters one from this far back which is still all original. The norm seems to be to have some fittings changed out...
