You have committed the sin of posting pics from the non-drive side of the bike, so I can't tell what components are on the bike, but it has nice wheels and stem. Google Tommasini Competizione and you will find good info on the bike, including some links to these forums.

That bike is a very nice gift. It has a little rust that I can see but if cleaned up and if the components are higher end, as I suspect, I think a fair CL price would be $750-$1000, less if more rust than evident in the pics, more if sold on eBay.

Looks like Shimano 600 group. $350-500 as it sits. SP ("super pig" per Richard Hallett) tubing might hold the price down a bit.

Looks like there is more work to be done than a cleaning.

This bike needs a full cleaning, overhaul, and probably some work on the surface rust to make it decent again. The seatpost being slammed so low worries me. Is it stuck, or can you get it to raise up?

I agree with roughly $400 as it sits. This bike is a lot of time/elbow grease (and some money) away from being ridden again.

I agree about the seat post, but respectfully disagree on the low pricing. Most Tomassini frame/forks alone will fetch 450-500 range barring a lot of rust.

The seller of this bicycle needs to spend some time making it more presentable for sale IMHO. I see some gold there that is cover with nothing that maybe a little elbow grease would make look like gold.

I would say around $400-500 as it it sits. The frame is really nice and makes up most of the value but the rough looking custom paint and the well worn grey 600 stuff that is kinda low end for this level of frame will hold the price down a lot. Most of the likely buyers for Tommasini's are looking for near prestine condition and higher end components.

Assuming there is no structural damage, I could get $500 for that frameset locally.

Easy peasy.

Frankly, given the relative condition and different components (mine's all Campy SR, and made of SLX rather than SP, and MUCH cleaner condition), My Tommasini is probably worth twice what that one is, and in my wildest dreams, I would not imagine it going for $2K or more - not that I'm selling. I've seen some far nicer Tommasini bikes than the one in this thread go unsold on ebay for asking prices in the $1250-$1500 range
.

Not even SL tubing....for sure...over 500 for that seems CRAZY. Now if it had C record group maybe.
