Nice looking frame. I would not pay more than 400.00. Veloce sti has those plastic - behind the brake lever- shifter. I dont know, but something about plastic shift levers bother me.

I think it looks like a pretty fair price for a very nice Italian racing bike.

I can tell you a Tommasini frameset brand new is $2,500 to $3,500.

This one is in very nice condition and I really like the build as well.

I've ridden this frameset model and it handles beautifully.

FWIW I have sold a few Tommasini framesets over the last 8-10 years and every one went for much more than the price Joe quoted for this entire bike.

+1

I fully agree...if you can find a Tommasini bike for $400 (I did!), then you should hesitate less than a heartbeat! @gomango is right, they run in the 1000's for full bikes...just look at eBay sold listings for a good feel. Many of the framesets ALONE run into the 1000's. As for the components, mixing a bit of Chorus in with Veloce...well...all Campy and it all sings. And, while the plastic shift lever affects some, I have used these shifters on several bikes and, of the "brifter" type of shifter, I like these the best!

All in all...not a bad price for a good looking Tommasini!
