Help a newbie price this bike: Schwinn X-Tra Lite
 

Hi, I am the owner of a vintage bicycle I am trying to sell. I'm afraid I have not taken good care of it in the two years I've had it, but it had been stored outside for a long time before it became mine for free. I'm looking for the year and maybe a cost estimate from you experts out there. I don't expect much. The tires are new (just flat), and the bike has not been used since it's last tuneup in 2013. It has rust on the chain and the paint is peeling, but it rides fine. The info I got from the bike is below. I'm also posting pictures:

Looks to be a 1979 Letour , frame is sometimes referred to as a mixte (step through). Depending on your market , maybe $75-100 . Good luck with the sale !

Before you sell it, pump the tires up. That should be a bare minimum.

Also, advertise it as a 'Schwinn Le Tour Mixte'.
Don't advertise it as an xtralite as that's just a general category of bike Schwinn sold.

Also, take a main picture from the side of the bike and have it be the drive side, meaning the side with the crank and freewheel...the right side.

A bike with no air is useless and should be expected to sell for near nothing as the buyer is chancing the bike fits and works doe they can't even test it.

$50-$125 for price. Depending on actual condition(your pics didn't show much) and how many mixtes are for sale at the time you are selling.
I would figure on the lower end of that range, to be clear.
