Mondia Road Race Bike
I saw this eBay listing...and I just think the color scheme is quite striking...anyone have an opinion on the value? I am not familiar with Mondia, so have no idea if it is even close.

It is a very basic bike, probably towards the lower end of Mondia's lineup at the time it was built. Reynolds 501 tubes and eyelets for fenders/racks suggest it is a sport tourer, perhaps. I'd price it at around $200, maybe a bit more because of the cool paint.

I would say it is overpriced for a pretty basic road bike with some fairly worn components. With the fairly nice frameset and cool paint I would say it's only $250 maybe $300 if you really like it and are set on Swiss made bike for some reason.

With all the videos on youtube, the endless illustrations in how to bike manuals, and the seller can't rewrap the bars with fresh tape? Makes you wonder if the bike had any kind of maintanence in the past.
Way over priced. I think the $250-300 range is appropriate.

I could see it going for around 200 in the Santa Cruz market, a little more if it were rebuilt and ready to go. The free shipping is not worth $500 dollars.
The paint is cool but you can do much better on ebay for 700 (shipping included).
