Bridgestone 450
I have an opportunity to purchase this bike. Price is not set yet. What do you think on value? From the reading I have done, it was lower end in Bridgestone lineup. Condition looks pretty good. I am viewing this weekend.Thanks.

Looks like a nice one. Great deal = $100. Good deal = $150. Fair deal = $200 provided she's ready to ride as is.
We just bantered about the value of a Bridgestone 400 here:

Thanks for response. I searched ebay for "450" and not much came up. I will search under "bridgestone 400" as well.

It's a 1986 Bridgestone 450 in Electric Blue. That puts it right in the middle of their road bike lineup. Bridgestone Bicycle Catalogue 1986 Bridgestone 450

Looks nice. I like the rear rack & extra water bottle holders. It's on the large size. For somebody around 6' tall. I'd be surprised if you can get it for less than $200.

I'd probably pay $200 as-is if I really wanted it, assuming it will need work (99.9% of used bikes that I come across need significant work.)
