What year is my jamis boss cruiser sand jam? - what's a 'sand jam'?
Found this today at local thrift store - it was half price day so I had to pay a whopping $17.50 (plus tax)! a Jamis Boss in excellent condition! but I can't tell what year it is, and there seems to be very little out there about them.
It has a Sand Jam sticker on the down tube and something I never saw _ Sand Jam pedals
Are these rare? What year is it?
Any help would be appreciated.

The Shimano rear derailleur might have a date code you can decipher using a web search. That'd probably give you the best idea when the bike was made.

It seems these cruisers might garner some interest from the BMX crowd, but I'm guessing much less so for a women's step-through frame.

Yeah ladies version is going to hurt a bit, I was told people look for the sand jam tires & mine has them, so that's good

Bikes: A green one, "Ragleigh," or something.

It's a low end children's bike, but seems to be in good shape. I'm actually kind of impressed they have their own "Sand Jam" labeled tires. (probably old, cracked and unsafe, but still... those little scallop shell lugs are just so cute!)
That bike is worth what you paid for it, but not a lot more. Are you small enough to ride it?
