CONCORD MIXTEE KUWAHARA question
I have a chance to purchase this and was wondering what a decent price is. The owner says it is unrestored and almost pristine. Thank you in advance for any input!

Welcome to the forums! Since you're new, you probably didn't realize we have a subforum for appraisals, perhaps the moderators will move this thread over there.
In the meantime, I'd say in super clean shape, roughly $80 - $300. The reason for the wide range is in small-town America, generally nobody is shopping for a mixte, but in coastal urban centers of hipness, they are in great demand.
Whatever you decide to spend, add $50-80 for new tires and tubes. Even unridden ones from long ago will be cracked and dried up and not really safe to ride on.

Well, that's definitely on the high side, even for a super nice one. But if it's exactly what you want...
What locale are you shopping in?

It's definitely NOT exactly what I need/want.... I just thought it was cool. I like vintage stuff - especially if it's a good deal. I'm in the Nashville area. Thanks for letting me know that it's on the high side. I think I'm going to pass on it then.

Still learning
In condition as presented, $75-$100, if you can do your own overhaul, which customarily costs $175 plus parts at a bike shop. The issue is that mixte on a good day, in a strong market, all tarted up, will never be worth more than $200, as it is an obscure brand, not French, and has steel rims. Second, the bike is a tall frame, so you had better be 5'8" or taller for it.
