i was wondering if the seat that came with my 1982 merckx is a original seat ??

Not sure, but 82 seems just a little bit early for a Concor saddle to pop up as standard on a bike. Not by much, maybe only a couple of years or so.......
It would be more natural to see a standard Concor Supercorsa or Superleggera on an early 80's bike IMO....
