Need help identifying Nishiki model

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Recently bought a Nishiki off craigslist to use around campus, but I've no idea what model this is. The serial number is CD 13482 if that helps. Any idea what model this is or can someone point me to the correct resources to help identify it? Thanks in advance.

Based on the entry level brake levers, steel pie plate on the back wheel, and the stem shifters- I would guess it's a Sport model.

But that's a guess based on a less than detailed pic.

Regardless of the model, it's an entry level bike. If it's in good mechanical condition, it could be excellent for your intended use.
Also, it could be a shadow, but the rims don't look original(regardless of model as that design wouldn't have been on any entry level Nishiki). I just mention this because if they are in good shape and newer, then that's a plus.

This would be a entry level sports model either a Rally or Olympic based on the serial number it is a a Canadian market bike from 84/85. The wheel set is non original and looks to be a slight upgrade from the originals which where likely steel. It should make for a nice basic commuter or sports bike.
