Can anyone tell me what year range this bike is from, if the brand is any good, I don't know much about these style bikes...any value?

Thanks

I believe it is a Made in China Raleigh Tourist ripoff. Probably 1990s or later. Below is a similar bike.

Flying Pigeon PA-02 Classic ? Flying Pigeon LA

That is not a Phoenix from Leeuwarden. It is a Chinese Raleigh copy. You can probably still buy them new.

EDIT: oddjob2 beat me to it.

if there are no marking on frame to indicate country of origin how about checking marking on tyres?

it she has been idle for thirty-five years they are unlikely to have been changed in that period.

True...the top tube says made in china

The tubes were red, it took me an hour to change the rear tube

I will check the head badge and the tires tomorrow, I rode it home from the bike shop last night, god damn this thing is a tank- it sure feels old lol

Well the design of it dates to the 1930's...

Especially not with a fork like that.

The Chinese signs and badge puts it somewhere in Asia and the headlight, with what looks like a switch on top, means it's probably fairly modern.

Edit: That weld on the fork is terrifying btw. O_o
