My 1975 Raleigh Sprite 27

All new 52100 balls, Grade 25. all has been greased and serviced and heavy tubes with Rino dillow kevlar liners.
This bike rides nice is dependable and shifts crisp, most is original but brakes where up graded to stop faster.
Tires and tubes are new.
I may list it for sale and would like to know what is fair to ask?

Location affects price by as much as 100% so without that info it's hard to give you a valuation.

I have one that was dusty, old, but not exploding tires & missing one grip that was $20 about 5 years ago. Yours looks much nicer though. I love these type bikes, but from casually eyeing the market over the years, I gather that I am an outlier.

ebay has them from $179 - $275. There are many factors affecting the price you'll get. Try searching completed auctions to see what people are willing to pay.

Roseville Ca. 95678 a very up scale town between Granite bay and Sacramento 7 miles from Gb and 10 miles from Sac.
I am in an area that has tons of bikes over the spring and summer then you hardly see them after the first rain.
I put it on Sac CL for $375.00 about half of what I put in it.
Un like most on ebay the whole bike has been re-greased and all the bearings replaced, even the rear hub has been done with in the year.
Most ebay bikes need work this one is ready to ride across the U.S. if some one has the time and legs for it.
Just getting the wheels trued and balanced, with new rubber will cost as much as some of the ebay bikes I've seen

Generally speaking, try to sell vintage non-collectable bikes for "what you have in them" is a unfulfilling task at best.

On this bike it is unlikely you will get what you put into back selling it. As a basic 3 speed from the 70's even in great fully serviced condition with extras $200-250 is about the most these sell for. With the nice tires leather seat and extras in the strong CA market you might get $300 or so for this one. Typically 60's-70's 3 speeds go for about $150 in very good condition they often end up costing more to rehab with new consumables than there worth.

Ok fair enough, at least the bike is saved to ride another decade with out being scraped.

for myself, I view these as labors of love....one of the types of bikes that I appreciate, but don't expect the rest of the world to feel the same about. Another example of the ride, utility & quality being greater than the market value implies.
