KHS Champion Mixte, unknown vintage?

I am considering getting a vintage steel road bike. TOP LINE KHS VINTAGE ROAD W/ OVER $100 IN BONUS ITEMS

This is available on my local craigslist. Do you think it is well priced?

It looks like a mix of original components, new wheels, very nice paint.

I can't tell the age!

What do you think?

If you're 5'5" or less, go for it. $200 in SF doesn't get you much, looks fairly priced for condition.

Thanks! I am 5'4" so it should be a good fit though I imagine I might have to play around with the handlebars. The owner was 6' tall, I can't fathom how he fit on that bike. Seems pretty small to me.

Definitely not top of the line as claimed but very nicely appointed for a mixte. It not too often that you see a mixte with double butted CrMo tubing, even if it Tange's lowest grade. On top of that you get wheels with aluminum laced to quick release hubs and a triple crankset. From what I can see, only the pedals are a letdown. I don't follow pricing closely but this seem to be a very good deal, barring mechanical issues. If you buy the bicycle, we may be able to date it from the serial number. My overall impression is early 1980s.

Edit: It's plain gauge CrMo,*not butted. I thought the label read #3 , not #5 . Fortunately, wrk101 caught my error. Regardless, it's still a good value.
