1972 Raleigh Tourist DL-1

1972 Raleigh DL-1 Tourist- 24" frame. Just bought this last week and I am beginning the overhaul and clean-up. Any ideas on value when offered in top mechanical condition?

The paint is good enough to leave original - just needs deoxidizing and a good polish. This Raleigh appears to be 100% original (it even has the original bag and pump). The only exception is a non-Raleigh front inner tube and the early addition of a vintage Wald kickstand. Chrome is is in very good condition with no pitting. Brooks saddle has minor scuffs and cracks but should be quite serviceable after a bit of black shoe polish on the scuffs an saddle soap to rejuvenate the leather.

Ebay price or big city price but tough moving a 3 speed (even one as nice as this) at that price in a smaller market.

Better google how to care for a Brooks Saddle but you don't want to saddle soap it. It will soften up the leather, which can ruin it's shape and ability to hold a heavier rider.

I'd say fmv is low $300's.
