Raleigh grand prix
I found someone who was selling a Raleigh Gran Prix and I want sure what the values were on them nowadays. I know the Grand Prix was on the lower end of the raleigh offerings at the time, and I'm not sure if it is a 76 with the cottered crank and steel wheels or a 77 with the better crank and the alloy wheels. Reguardless is there anyone who would know the values on these either being a 76 or 77?
Thanks
Thanks

Photo is not enlarging. Perhaps a snag in our new forum software...
Bike is indeed fitted with the Sakae Ringyo Raleigh badged alloy cotterless crankset.
It is a machine assembled in the Oklahoma facility (made in England).

The alloy Raliegh branded crank would make it a 77/78. In excellent ready to ride condition these go for about $200.

incazzare.
I think $200 is a bit high, maybe. But not nuts. These are tough to price because they're not terrible bikes, but they're not high end either.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I think I might be able to snag it for around $30 so I'll probably pick it up. With a good doing over would it be somewhere around $125-$130 range?

Not being familiar with your work product, hard to give a finished value. Some guys are over the top, some fall short. Post pics after you are done, and more useful estimates will be given.

Nice get for $30 I would say cleaned up ready to go it should get about $150. Since this is a slightly cheaper variant of the GP with steel wheels, plastic saddle and likely steel bars.
