72' Raleigh Super Course

Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie here at bikeforums although I have been getting a lot of good infos from you guys. Always great help!
Anyways I came across this vintage possibly 72' Raleigh Super Course.
He is offering $510 CND for it and he said he could part it for $400 CND.
From the pics, it looks great and descent. Will it be a good buy?

I like the Super Course and have several. Bike is perhaps too original and shows signs of need for an overhaul, which will cost $150-$200 Canadian or more at an LBS. Cables and housing are original and need replacing, rust on skewers indicates hubs haven't been serviced.

Therefore as presented, FMV is about $275 Canadian as shown for a rider, about $200 US. The SC can often be found for far less in rougher condition.
